Molly Ringwald

She was the coming-of-age princess with lead roles in hit movies – The Breakfast Club, 16 Candles and Pretty in Pink. Celebrated as a teen icon, she hung with the Brat Pack of Hollywood and dated Dweezil Zappa (son of Frank). And, as a ginger idol of mine, I mostly admired her because she DID look pretty in pink. Pink is not a usually a ginger friendly colour. I still have nightmares about the pink bridesmaid dress I wore to my sister’s wedding. I looked less Molly Ringwald and more Bride of Chucky.
