All new ginger game boy

New Zealand app developer Mark Major is a very handsome ginger who turned catastrophe into history. Mark’s app game Plummet is based on a near-death experience when he fell down a 9 meter construction shaft on a busy Beijing Street. Devising the mobile game, produced by his start-up company Broken Back Games, has been cathartic for Mark.
The self imaged cartoon caricature in the game is decidedly ginger although he proclaims “in real life my beard isn’t as ginger “, and just like his real life accident, he is plummeting towards certain death – “all you can do is flap your arms and hope to die with the highest score!”

Mark worked with a Serbian designer and Romanian developer to build the design. The hole is randomly generated so each turn is never the same experience. Game lovers can have endless fun just by tilting their smartphone to move the character and avoid the walls; the further they fall, the higher the score.
