The ginger prince is born

As rumours swirl about Harry rekindling his love with Chelsy, I’d like us to take a trip down memory lane to when the House of Windsor was blessed with their very own ginger prince.

Henry Charles Albert David (known as Harry to his ‘chums’), currently fourth in line to the throne of England and its territories, was born in 1984. To announce his arrival, two traditional 41-gun salutes ripped through the air – one fired in Hyde Park by the Queen’s Troop, the Royal Horse Artillery. A second salute was fired simultaneously from the Tower of London (nothing so common as a phone call or text to announce our ginger prince).

Harry was barely out of the royal womb before stories began circulating about the origin of his fiery follicles. Our ginger prince is no stranger to scandal which began with soldier/cad James Hewitt implicated in Harry’s paternity. Harry, known as the prince of partying has always had an uncensored streak (smoking marijuana, under age drinking, naked partying  and dressing as a Nazi). But, following in his mother’s footsteps, he is a true people’s prince when it comes to his empathy for those in need of help, taking on humanitarian work with orphans of Lesotho and patroning the Invictus Games in 2014.

In the Army, Prince Harry fought for his right to serve as a regular soldier, bravely serving 2 tours of duty in Afghanistan. He once revealed that he gets mercilessly ribbed for his hair by his Army buddies, who have been known to call him the “Ginger Bullet Magnet”.

So, he’s a little wild, but basically good-hearted, funny and down-to-earth and, did I mention the most handsome royal ginger on the planet!
